Soap Making Demonstration
Come and learn how to make soap from scratch in this introductory class. The instructor is Jennifer Burns-Robinson, a local artisan soap-maker (Copper Kettle Soap Company), and she will explain the terminology, chemistry and artistry behind cold-process soap-making, before demonstrating the process and making a batch of soap. Participants will not be required to handle lye during the class. Every person will go home with a bar of Jennifer's handmade soap, and the confidence to try soap-making at home.
